Around 7 years ago Kelly started hand stitching blankets for local makers markets starting at Dixieland Relics which led to Indie Flea’s in Tampa/St. Pete. The blankets needed to be displayed, which led to Kelly finding items to use in her displays. This led to finding more and more fun relics to display and sell. It really was kind of unexpected but also very organic..

I (Bill) was a middle school teacher for 21 years, and Kelly was an elementary/middle school teacher for 10 years. We had our 3 kids at a young age, were responsible, had a steady income for those 20 or so years of teaching and felt like it was time to take an adventure. Our oldest child (Abby) is at Florida State University, Sam is at Williams College, and our youngest is a Junior at Lakeland High School.

Kelly's middle name is June and for a time she had fun running this business with a gal whose middle name is Taylor. We now run the business ourselves (Kelly and Bill) but love everything about where the business has come from.

Philosophy

Kelly has a passion for both design and people. What better way to do both than with a vintage shop in the Downtown Lakeland?

Transitional design and pieces are what separate us. We're not solely modern, mid century, or antiques, but we like to mix the styles to create a unique store with a distinct look.
